CSR Creation Guideline for Microsoft Exchange 2013

Step By Step Information about Microsoft Exchange 2013 CSR Creation

As we all know, a Certificate Signing Request (CSR) is an exclusively formatted encrypted message sent to a Certificate Authority (CA) by an applicant to validate the information required for certificate issuance. Here, we have put together a stepwise procedure to generate a CSR for Exchange 2013 server.

If you already have an SSL certificate with you, all you need to do is follow an SSL Installation Guide for Exchange 2013.

Easy accessibility of an interface through the browser is one of the several changes that were made to Exchange 2013. Here is an easy-to-use CSR generation guide created by The SSL Store™ for all its users:

Step 1 – Open your web browser and browse 'https://localhost/ecp and access the 'Exchange Admin Center'

Step 2 – Login by entering your domain/user name and password.

  • The 'Department Name' column should specify your department within the organization.
  • Enter the city's information again if you don't have 'State/ Province'.

Click 'Next' after you have submitted all the information thoroughly.
