Channel Marketing Manager

Job Summary: The Channel Marketing Manager position will be responsible for developing and implementing successful marketing initiatives & campaigns for a leading website security solutions provider. This position is for an agile, flexible and versatile marketer who can ideate and execute effective marketing strategies and tactics in line with our brand identity, goals and objectives. Success in this role depends on excellent copywriting skills, effective B2B communication & persuasive writing skills, the ability to quickly gain a deep understanding of our competition/market position/industry trends, in-depth knowledge of our technical products and services, the use of modern marketing tactics & techniques and a proven track record of hands-on experience in web and digital marketing.

This position will require cross-functional collaboration to drive real results in various revenue generating divisions of our business–both direct and indirect channels. Ultimately, this person will help build and maintain a strong and consistent brand throughout a wide range of online and offline marketing channels. This position is for an in-house marketer who is eager for the opportunity to dive deep into the industry to become a subject matter expert and is even more motivated to share their passion & excitement for creative marketing through a leading brand that offers in-demand cybersecurity products, solutions and services across the globe.

Responsibilities

  • Create branding and marketing campaigns that engage, educate, motivate and convert.
  • Articulate the company’s brand and unique value proposition(s) throughout a wide range of marketing mediums.
  • Coordinate marketing campaigns that support overall sales activities in all channels.
  • Write compelling copy and content for our website(s) that considers all aspects of what it takes to win online and supports the company's brand vision.
  • Continually strive to develop a keen sense for differentiating various solutions and the key benefits of each product, solution or program.
  • Plan, coordinate and/or execute effective Email Marketing campaigns; such as:
    • Newsletters (Enterprise & Reseller)
    • Upselling/upgrading campaigns
    • Partner enablement and onboarding
    • Various marketing automation activities (e.g. Zift Solutions, Mailchimp)
  • Assist or lead event, trade show, conference planning and coordination as needed.
  • Plan and coordinate new product launches for direct and indirect releases.
  • Create a compelling company storyline to increase global awareness as an industry leader.
  • Unify and manage company/employee brand messaging and profiles on LinkedIn, etc.
  • Support internal social media initiatives with the digital marketing team as needed.
  • Continually monitor & research competitors and stay up to date on industry trends to consistently identify potential marketing opportunities.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of the global competitive landscape in order to capitalize on value gaps and opportunities.
  • Facilitate ideation with key stakeholders to come up with creative ways to improve branding and visibility worldwide.
  • Produce valuable and engaging content for our blog that attracts and converts our ideal target profiles as needed.
  • Prepare and monitor a marketing budget and allocate funds wisely.
  • Oversee and approve marketing materials, from website pages/banners to hard copy brochures and case studies to ensure message is always on brand.
  • Analyze marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic, etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies.
  • Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals.
  • Analyze consumer behavior and adjust email and advertising campaigns accordingly.
  • Develop strategies and tactics to boost the company's reputation and drive qualified traffic.
  • Manage the marketing, positioning & value proposition of Enterprise solutions and Reseller channel programs.
    • Support and coordinate with channel sales operations to create & execute effective marketing plans for each stage of Reseller/Enterprise partner lifecycle; such as; prospecting, proposals, presentations, demos, onboarding, enablement, product training, manage client creative services, webinars, video marketing, etc.
    • Identify Enterprise and Reseller personas/verticals and develop creative ways to target accordingly.
    • In cooperation with the digital marketing team, create effective and targeted landing pages that drive more Reseller sign-ups and leads for Enterprise products & services.
    • Develop and deploy the marketing and positioning of our comprehensive portfolio of Enterprise products and services.
  • Enhance the company's global Reseller Program for its next iteration—including: new model, sell pages, value proposition(s), marketing collateral, enablement programs, etc.
    • Plan, coordinate, track and analyze the performance of in-direct channel marketing initiatives, programs and campaigns with Reseller Partners.
    • Build strategic relationships with channel marketing partners as applicable.
    • Identify channel pass-through opportunities and quickly create material for sales & promotion for direct and indirect.
    • Work with the creative team to design/repurpose/extend the shelf life of original content from vendors.
    • Consistently contribute to other team members' ideas, thoughts & projects.
    • Keep the team up-to-date with best practices and trends related to your expertise when they arise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record of supporting business development initiatives.
  • Outstanding copywriting skills. Excellent writing skills.
  • Marketing knowledge mandatory, B2B marketing experience is a must.
  • Solid leadership skills.
  • Expert-level knowledge of channel marketing, e-commerce and the ever-changing digital marketplace.
  • Experience in establishing and/or maintaining online brand recognition.
  • Proven experience in identifying target audiences and creatively devising and leading across channels.
  • Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
  • Proficient with Sales Automation tools.
  • Ability to work evenings occasionally.
